Faculty Position at NCU/IHOS

The Graduate Institute of Hydrological and Oceanic Sciences (IHOS) at the National Central University (NCU) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at or above the rank of Assistant Professor. The preferred areas of expertise include land hydrology, land-sea-air interactions, physical oceanography, or other related fields in marine science and applications.

Applicants must hold a PhD in a relevant field, possess a strong record of academic publications, and demonstrate the ability to teach courses in English. Candidates with postdoctoral research experience abroad and a track record of international collaboration are particularly encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should be able to establish independent research and deliver outstanding academic results.

In some cases, a project faculty position might be offered before a faculty position based on suggestions recommended by the committee.

Position Start Date: August 1, 2025.
